Inspector Montalbano – Season 4

Episode 1 (The Sense of Touch): The seemingly accidental death of a blind man leads Montalbano to an island off the coast of Siciliy. Episode 2 (Montalbano’s Croquettes): As the small town of Vigata prepares for its New Year celebrations, local police inspector Salvo Montalbano is reluctantly making arrangements to travel to Paris with his girlfriend. Episode 3 (The Scent of the Night): Investor Emanuele Gargano has disappeared with the savings entrusted to him by the people of Montelusa. Episode 4 (The Goldfinch and the Cat): A series of mysterious muggings takes place in Vigata, ending in tragedy when one of the victims is killed.

Inspector Montalbano – Season 3

Inspector Montalbano is an Italian television series based on the detective novels of Andrea Camilleri. The protagonist is Commissario Salvo Montalbano, and the stories are set in the imaginary town of Vigata, Sicily. Episode 1 (A Trip to Tindari): A young Don Juan is found murdered in front of his apartment building and an elderly couple are reported missing after an excursion to the ancient site of Tindari. Episode 2 (The Artist’s Touch): Goldsmith Alberto Larussa appears to have committed suicide by turning his wheelchair into an electric chair. But Inspector Montalbano discovers something else.

Rufus Sewell was Victoria’s first prime minister; the two immediately connected and their intimate friendship became a popular source of gossip that threatened to destabilise the Government – angering both Tory and Whigs alike.

Episode 1 (The Shape of Water): Mr Luparello, a renowned local engineer and leading political figure, is found dead in a car at a notorious prostitution spot on the outskirts of Vigata. Episode 2 (The Mystery of the Terracotta Dog): A criminal turned state witness informs Montalbano of an arms stash in a cave just outside Vigata. Also uncovered in the cave is a secret chamber where the bodies of two lovers.
