Telenovela stars Marjorie de Sousa and Julian Gil announce pregnancy and engagement

Telenovela actors Marjorie de Sousa and Julian Gil are engaged and expecting.

The couple, who have been together off and on for more than a decade and costarred on several shows, including Sueño de amor and Hasta el fin del mundo, spilled details on their engagement and their forthcoming arrival in the new issue of People en Español.

“I had a feeling,” De Sousa admitted of realizing she was pregnant. She recalled realizing her period was late and asking her assistant to bring her a pregnancy test. “It was a surprise. We’d only been together one night, nothing more. Deep down it gave me a shock. ‘How much commitment was I ready for?’”

The Venezuelan model and actress’ doubts were soon dispelled, however, when she told Gil the news and he cried with joy. “I always said I needed something, and a family was it, although I already have one,” says the Argentine actor, who is father to Nicole, 29, and Julian, 16.

The happy couple also described their engagement — over a special dinner Gil planned — and their search for a new home in Mexico as they await the birth of their baby in February 2017. —- Source Entairtaiment Weekly
