La cocinera de Castamar (The Cook of Castamar)

The fiction is set in 1720 in Madrid, during the reign of Philip V. After losing her father, Clara Belmonte develops agoraphobia and takes refuge in the kitchens, where she feels safe. She starts working as a cook in the kitchens of the Duke of Castamar, marked by his pregnant wife’s tragic death.
