Welcome to Block 181, a drug-ridden neighbourhood where, amidst fighting between residents and the fierce Misa gang, a forbidden love triangle is beginning to form.

In the Block, gang clashes see Bea, torn between her role as Segundera and her hope for a normal life, confronted on the one hand, and Mahdi, who tries hard to fill the void left by his uncle, on the other. Between them is a gang of brash young boys, the Kasba: multi-ethnic, loud, irrepressible. Leading them are Zak and Nael, two 20-year-olds of Arab descent determined to make their own way, in music as in life.
