Julieta

The film spans 30 years in Julieta’s life from a nostalgic 1985 where everything seems hopeful, to 2015 where her life appears to be beyond repair and she is on the verge of madness.

Müyesser is a disabled old woman dependent on her daughter-in-law’s care. She can neither walk nor speak. In the mansion where they have just moved due to her son’s new occupation, Müyesser meets a mysterious guest awaited for years, who proposes a last dance with her.

Kader

Bekir is a young man who runs his father’s business. He becomes infatuated with Ugur after she visits his shop one day. However she is in love with Zagor, a violent criminal. In a brawl Zagor kills the ‘protector’ of the family of Ugur and runs away with Ugur. After two subsequent murders he gets caught and Ugur asks for Bekir’s help. She becomes a singer – whore and starts living from city to city following Zagor who is in prison, while Bekir follows her despite the fact that in the meantime he got married and has a child.

Kanalizasyon

Imdat is a poor, uneducated, working class window cleaner who has migrated to the big city. As he cleans the windows of the private TV channel Kanal I, the president of the channel, Berk, discovers that Imdat has an uncanny ability to sense what program will yield the best ratings and what is likely to be panned by audiences, thus Berk begins milking Imdat’s unique ability to score ratings. Soon Imdat finds himself replacing the president and leading the TV channel. He goes on to produce some truly tasteless and exploitative programs that enjoy massive ratings, eventually becoming part of the dirty media games himself.
