She was born in New Delhi, India, she completed her schooling at St. Xavier School in Delhi. For higher studies she goes to JIMS (Jagan Institute For Management Studies), Rohini in New Delhi. Before becoming an actress, she wanted to become a journlist.

Her hair color is black and her eyes are dark brown. Sharma had a tatto on her left hand in Latin language which says “Have a nice day”. She was raised by her mother Usha Sharma, because her father died when she was just a child. She has an olderbrother, both have great bond with each other. Her brother works in MNC in Delhi.
