MacGyver 2016 – Season 1

20-something Angus MacGyver creates a clandestine organization where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening.

Abby O’Brien Winters returns to her hometown of Chesapeake Shores, Maryland, after receiving a panicked phone call from her younger sister Jess, who has renovated the Inn at Eagle Point. Abby’s demanding career, divorce and young twin daughters, has kept her busy to even think about the town her father built. Saving her sister’s inn from foreclosure means dealing not only with her fractured family but also with Trace Riley, the man she left ten years ago. He initially is an obstacle but becomes an unexpected ally and a second chance at finding love.

Machair

Set in the Hebridean island of Lewis, off the north-west coast of Scotland, Machair was based around a fictional further educational college called Bradan Mor which specialised in business and media studies. The majority of the filming was set outside to get as much of the background location in as possible. Machair is the Gaelic word for describing an extensive low-lying fertile plain.
